I have used this shop for my Pontiacs and Volkswagon for 10 years. They are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they are honest.

I have been using South Main for over 5 years. They have done a fantastic job keeping my vehicle running in prime condition ever since. They are more than willing to ensure that I can afford the needed repairs and try as much as possible to lump repairs together to save on labor charges. They are also more than willing to give a loaner car to customers for as long as the repair takes, free of charge. The only thing they ask is that you leave the gas tank at the level it was at when you drive away.

They go out of their way to describe an issue to make sure you understand the nature of the problem. If it is non-critical, they will tell you so.

We have 2 Toyotas and 2 Audis and they have done a great job with all. These guys are the best. Got their name from the previous owner of our Audi S4. He was a fanatic about caring for the car and would take it nowhere else. They take time to explain issues and options and don't jump to repair things that have life left in them. They are honest and helpful and fair.

I took my CR-V to South Main Tire and Auto after hitting a pothole that caused a troubling grinding noise to emanate from the back of the car. They saw me right away, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and, almost unbelievably, didn't charge me a penny for their time and labor. They said it was a pretty minor thing (brake backing plate rubbing against the caliper), but I was still impressed by their generosity and integrity, especially considering that this was my first time doing business with them. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
