Cheap and honest. Never had any problems with them.

I first took my car there after 309 Nissan in Ambler told me I needed a new power steering pump and new oil seals for $1100. I was just hoping to get the work done cheaper, but Schrader told me not to waste my money and I didn't need anything done. That was the last time I used Nissan dealer service for anything (I've had other problems with them but that was the final straw), and I've taken my car to Schrader several other times when I was living in Collegeville. A friend of mine used to work there and says Mr. Schrader is very honest. I've never been charged a lot of money at this shop; one time he only charged me 12 dollars to fix something. The place is also open pretty late, I think until 8 PM, so it's convenient if you don't have time to pick up or drop off your car during the day.

Our regular mechanic retired and we had to get our car inspected. We decided to check out the Cartalk site to see if there was anybody recommended in our area. Boy, are we glad we did. We were very happy with our experience. We now have a new regular mechanic.
