Ron Slaney and his son, Scott, are good, honest human beings. They do the job right and get it done right the first time. Their labor raters are most times cheaper then the new car dealer service departments. Ron is a very likeable person and will listen to what you have to say. I would highly recommend Slaney's Service Center. As for the public transportation matter, I am not sure how many people know this, but there are two modes of public transit available to his patrons. The "T" is the subway system of Pittsburgh and the Library route runs behind some homes across the street from where he is located. The name of the stop is the LINDERMER stop, since he is located on Lindermer Avenue in Bethel Park. The other mode of transit is the 88 transit lines bus that goes into downtown Pittsburgh. I have never personally ridden that bus, so I am not sure what their fares are and how often they run. They go as far south as a town called Charleroi (pronounced Charleroy), not to mention that his shop is within walking distance to many stores and shops including the Dollar General, Wal Mart, Dollar Tree, just to name a few. Ron's wife, Cheryl, who helps Ron run the financial aspect of his auto repair business, is also a front end manager at the Bethel Park Wal Mart, as well.
