Lynn took us on a tour under the hood of the car, and under the car, to show us exactly what was going on and what he'd have to do. We'd missed the 30k and 60k tune-ups (we're at 110k), so he suggested he do the 60 since he'd have to tear things apart to fix the leaking cams anyway. He had it done the next day, everything clean and neat, and about $400 less than the dealerships price. The car acts and sounds like it has a new heart! Lynn also has a wonderful shop dog named Scully, the official greeter of the place. Scully is a big love with golden brown eyes, and is happy to see everyone who drops by. She (he?) doesn't mind being stepped over, and might even like to play if you have the time.

Lynn has saved us a ton of money by his honest opinion. He is a Subaru expert, none better.

Being a gear head since I was 15,some.?// years, I have known many mechanics and Lynn is easily one of the very best. He runs an honest fair shop. He does quality work in a very timely manner, plus he's a nice guy. Having known Lynn for 12 years we have developed a typical guy relationship,translation"we give each other a large ration of ?/][ whenever possible". So please keep this review confidential or I will never hear the end of it. Thanks for the most entertaing "squandered" hour on radio.

Lynn has saved me a fortune over the years. There is nobody anywhere who knows Subarus better. And you won't find anyone more honest. I once dropped off my car for a tune-up. About an hour later, the receptionist at work handed me my keys and said Lynn had delivered my car. He looked under the hood, decided he couldn't charge me for a tune-up because the car didn't need one, and even brought it to me. This is not your quick-in/quick-out shop where you can watch the sports channel while you wait in the lounge. Lynn is a one-man operation. The location is no-frills. Plan to leave the car with him and let him tell you when it's ready. You'll never be sorry.

I am happy to have Lynn work on my car. He has helped me out of more than one jam. I wish he worked on makes other than Subaru.

I took a car to be inspected at the shop. He put it on the lift for a few minutes, looked around, took it for a test drive and gave me a clean bill of health. Literally, the next day after I had just bought the car on his recommendation, I went to get an alignment and found out 2 really big things. The head gaskets are leaking which is a $1,300 job and the tie rods are shot which is about a $700 job. So, the car with the clean bill of health... Yeah.. If I put two grand in to it, clean bill of health. I would not recommend this guy. Maybe he does good work if he's actually working on your car, but from where I'm sitting, he's awful. $25 for an inspection that was utterly worthless.

Lynn worked on my subaru for the first time when it had some general maintenance issues, plus a wicked oil leak. He took care of all of that for me in a very timely fashion, and quoted (and billed) about half of what another shop had told me it would cost to fix. I'd go back to Lynn with my car problems in a heartbeat!

Lynn has worked on three of our Subarus for the past few years and has found good deals for us on two used ones when we asked him for advice on finding a good used Subaru. He is a rarity in the auto repair industry......honest, competant and charges very fair prices for his work. He's never performed any repair work that wasn't needed, which is more than can be said for most dealers. We know of at least a half dozen people who own Subarus that can attest to his work. And Scully the wonder dog provides amply entertainment.
