When it comes to repairs, Darrell has always kept me very well informed as to what repairs needed to be done versus what could be done, and how they could be done in the most cost-effective manner. He has also treated my money like it was his own. In one instance, I brought in the car and asked for replacement hatch struts, along with other repairs. Darrell called me that afternoon and said, "Look, I can replace the struts, but I'd rather see you spend the money on new tires, because they're pretty badly worn." He didn't automatically try to convince me to buy the tires in addition to the struts. Not to mention the fact that he was looking out for my safety. Was I impressed? Yep. He's been my mechanic for about 7 years now, and I highly recommend him to anyone with a VW.

Darrell was really great. He told me what was crucial repair and what could be held off for a later date. He was fast and really personable. I will be taking my little bug to him from now on. He also fixed some tiny bolt that was missing and just included it all on the initial repair. You won't regret taking your VW to him.
