These guys have worked on my vehicles for the last 8 years. One Honda and a few Toyotas. The techs working there have been working there the entire time I've been going. They seem like a family to each other. They've never messed anything up. I highly recommend Metro Metric and have been for years. Honest mechanics who know what's up. Sometimes when I get my car back, I notice that they will have replaced something and not even mentioned it. Like one time I got a new battery cable, and they made no mention and there was no charge. If I wasn't the type to look under my hood and take note, I never would have known! They just seem to have their clients' best interests in mind.

I've taken cars to Metro Metric for 9 years. They are always professional, competent, and communicative. I was motivated to write this review after taking a car in for regular service and receiving a call saying that everything checked out fine (nothing was due or needed work), and there was no bill. This shop is GREAT!

I am new to this mechanic, so can't answer all the questions yet, but they had every opportunity to see me something another mechanic had diagnosed and they chose to fix the problem and save me a lot of money. I dropped my car off at Metro Metric today. I told them that the mechanic (whom I've been going to for about a year--and I thought was pretty honest) told me at my next oil change that I would need a new oil pan because the threads on the plug were stripped. The oil pan replacement would be $500.00. My car is worth about $1,500.00 I told them if they needed to do it, to go ahead (they would charge $400.00), but if they didn't, I was happy to live with a little oil dripping. They called me this morning and told me they replaced the plug and changed the oil--grand total $41.00. I love these guys.

I have taken my 1990 Suburu Loyale to Metro Metric since I bought it, used, in 1994. For a decade before that, they kept my Datsun 310 running. I've always treasured their honesty and competence but the other day they did something completely off the charts. My Suburu had broken down on a road trip, was towed to a shop in Mountlake Terrace, WA, and repaired. I took the shredded timing belts, bent pulley and a suspicious culprit bolt to Ron at Metro Metric to check out. When I returned, Ron announced that "absolutely we were at fault; we left that bolt in the engine" after overhauling it a year earlier, and he handed me a check covering the entire bill from the Washington shop. These guys are absolutely the best.
