Mel, my mechanic and the owner of the shop kept my "junker" car running for one & a half years. He made a lot of money off me & that car. However, He is very pleased that I have a good car now. I don't see him as often, but I get regular tune-ups and oil changes. He always tells me if there is an inexpensive alternative or a way I can fix something myself. He explains all the work he does in detail. If he finds a problem I didn't know about, he calls me to give me the option of getting it fixed now or lets me know if it can wait. I have always trusted him. He'll do little extra things for free now & then. I was sooo lucky to find him & he's only a couple of miles away!

I needed some repairs done with my own parts. The shop is
now called Mel's and has been for a few years. They had it
done quicker than expected - I will go back again. :)

I had them replace the driveshafts
& brakes on my subaru and have since referred them to family
and friends. No complaints they are fair and honest. A great
family run shop.

Mel and "company" have been informative to me when I took
my car in to them. I always get an "estimate" and they
normally are in the " ballpark" on the total invoice. Their
work seems thorough and they get the best price on parts 2.
On a grade level, I give them a "B" and wish them well.
(I no longer can afford the hourly labor prices so am
getting my current repairs done by a relative - labor free!)
