Scott has taken our 86,000 mile, 1996 Saturn and actually made it almost a pleasure to drive. He works on pretty much anything on a car. In our case, this has included the usual tune-ups, evaluating an oil leak which lead to changing the oil pan, new brakes & master cylinder, replacing the broken motors in the automatic windows (what can I say? It's a Saturn!), and replacing the seals around a window and the trunk so they no longer leak (the Saturn factor again). He even evaluated the faulty radio & speakers and advised us what he thought was the best solution for replacements, which he'd be glad to install for us or we could have it done elsewhere if we wished. He explains everything clearly, which, as a woman, I really appreciate. He's also flexible in terms of spacing out work if you need extensive repairs and don't have the money to shell out all at once. But most important, I know if Scott Bird fixes it, it will be done right the first time. I won't have to bring it back, it won't break down again later. The car will run noticeably better - ours runs better than I ever thought it could! This is a mechanic you can trust your car with.
