This is an extraordinarily competent and friendly shop. This is small town American around here, and they work very hard to do a good job and provide a great service. I know both Rod (the owner) and Scott (the chief mechanic) well through having been a customer for the past five years. They have been able to diagnose and repair problems that eluded the dealership and other specialty shops. Only once or twice did I find it appropriate to get a second opinion from another shop regarding a sticky issue. They've been gracious about dropping my car off AT MY HOME(!) when they knew I needed it but couldn't get to the shop before closing time. And they are good about opening an account so that several visits in one month (several older cars, you see) are put on one bill and paid before the following month end. In sum, I was VERY surprised to find such a good shop with such good people in such a small town (800 population), and would recommend them to almost anyone.

Totally agree with reviewer number one. I have been doing business with them since 2004, and they've always been courteous, competent and fair. It's a little inconvenient to drive 20 miles to get my car serviced, but it's worth it. The only time I ever had a mishap was when Rod was test driving my car after a repair and a chip hit the windshield. Even though it was really nobody's fault, he took care of it in full.
