I have been going to LAD for over 15 years. They started out as specializing in Japanese cars, but now, as far as I know, work on most anything. Mike is the service manager (owner?), and to make a long story short, I totally trust them. Example, they recently installed an electronic component in may car which they thought would fix a particular problem. Their cost: about $125. Since it did not fix the problem, no charge. I have gone to other places over the years, but always come back to LAD. THESE GUYS KNOW THEIR STUFF! Total integrity.

I had a mystery electrical problem in my old money-pit Olds that Lad tried to fix several times--a couple of times at no charge. Mike, the manager, told me that he had no idea what was causing the problem and that he couldn't in good conscience work on it any more. Since I'd already put a lot of money into the pit, I used it as a trade-in for a newer vehicle (which they keep in great shape). How many garages do you know that would tell you that they couldn't fix something that could very well turn into a cash cow? That incident alone was enough to endear me to Lad permanently.

Went to these guys based on Cartalk website; who likes to pay for car repair ? But I couldn't ask for a better shop. Now consider them my first choice even tho I live about 20 miles away. Hope success won't spoil their availability and helpful attitude.
