John (owner) is awesome. I am moving and will miss him --
it's so hard to find an honest, reasonable mechanic! Great
guy, too.
I initially stopped in as I had a leaky exhaust manifold
that was going to be big bucks to fix. I was convinced that
JB weld would hold, but lack the skills to apply it (and not
end up with glue where Ray had the sno-seal). John offered
to try JB welding the manifold for me for what I considered
dirt cheap. 60,000 miles later, the manifold was still fine,
although I finally killed the transmission at just over
200,000 miles on the car.

John Z. runs a stand-up business. I've been taking my '93 Accord to him ever since I bought it, and if there's a problem, he'll fix it cheap and right. Not only has he never screwed up a repair for me, he's fixed minor, easily dealt-with problems for free on several occasions. (I'm not saying you should go knocking on his door looking for free repairs--don't get me wrong.) He's an honest guy and a good mechanic. And you can talk to him abou

John Zito is an honest, generous, capable, accurate, funny,
good hearted New York City transplant
owner/operator-mechanic who plays golf - his one character
flaw - and looks after people the way a good brother would:
well, maybe not Tom and Ray, or Cain and Abel, but that guy
who would look out for you when you needed it. One big
thumb up, because I only have the one...
