Took my 03 Civic in today to check clutch noise and front end alignment, which the dealer was going to charge me $80+ to align all four wheels. Johan Honduras checked the clutch noise and determined that it just needed greased. As for the alignment issue - well, let's just say it didn't need it after all. The pressure in all four tires was too high and varied significantly - no two tires were at the same pressure. Johan Honduras didn't charge me a thing to even out the air pressure and put a little grease on my clutch, which doesn't make a sound now. Johan's is great! I be return time and again. No more dealers for me!

My car has been in to see Johann on several occasions of late ('90 Honda Accord, 210k) and I have always been pleased. When I thought I needed a new battery cable, they suggested that they could simply graft on a new head because it was much cheaper. Rebuilding my alternator was cheaper. There was the time that I left the car all day in order to have an intermittent starting problem fixed...but it started all day in the service lot. Late the next day, Friday, it had to be towed in. They hopped on the repair right away and I was ready to go by closing time. Although I would like to consider a Camry for my replacement car, but Johann doesn't do Toyota.

After having my CV joints replaced earlier in the day, my car suddenly lost acceleration and came to a slow stop. When I tried to put the car in park, it made a horrible grinding noise. Had the car towed to a nearby Honda dealership (which was about 22 miles away from the original CV joint mechanic) who told me the problem was due to a "major internal transmission failure," and that it would cost me $4,000 to get it fixed. YIKES! After checking for an alternative, I had the car towed to Johannes Hondura. Even though I had my boyfried with me, the mechanic addressed me as the owner of the car and very competently explained what HE thought the problem was and what he was going to do about it. In the end, Hondura fixed the faulty CV joints and even with an oil change (which the mechanic suggested) it was cheaper than where I took the car originally for CV joints. There's nothing like a trustworthy mechanic. Was glad for the reference. Now I have to go get my money back from those other guys! signed, Pretty happy in Oklahoma

Ever since I can remember we have taken our cars to Johann's. There is generally someone there from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening. They have always made absolutely sure that I know what my options are and how much it will run. They call before they do any work, just after they test it and make sure that I, the owner, ok's the work to be done. I really appreciate that. When we finally pick the car up, there is never a sinking feeling that they will suprise you with another price... they are usually pretty close to the original estimate. I've taken my car other places for estimates and work but at Johan's I pay a reasonable price for much better work and a peace of mind about the fact that I know what's happening to my car.

My father has been a mechanic all of my life and is now a mechainc instructor at a local vo-tech, so I have grown up around cars. Whenever I have to have my 96 Accord checked (obviously dad won't even look at it), I am ready for the mechanic to try to get over on me. When I went to Johann's, though, my service advisor was very honest with me. I went in to have my timing belt replaced and the mechanic suggested replacing the water pump at the same time for no additional labor. Now common sense says that when you have the belts off, there really isn't any more work to replace the water pump, but he could have waited until it went bad and then charged me for the labor, service fees, etc.. Additionally, I got the pump for less than the dealership. Johann really knows hondas and is the only place in town to go.

My Honda Accord's a/c was blowing warm air....would not cool at all. When I took it in, they were very busy so the owner himself (Johann) pitched in. After a while he motioned me over and said come take a ride with him. Nice cool air came out of the vents. I asked him what had been wrong and he said nothing. Very puzzling...he clarified that by explaining that when he traced everything he found nothing wrong but theorized that in doing that, if there had been something that failed to open, like a valve, the act of running the system may have opened something that had been not opening. I am probably not explaining it well. Anyway, some mechanics could have made up a good story about it being very complicated and expensive, and I would not have known any better. I knew I was getting off easy, but knew there was bound to be a time charge. When I asked him how much I owed for the visit, he said since I had been a good customer for years, this one was on the house. I could have fainted on the spot. By the way, their practice is limited to Hondas and Acuras. I have since moved from Oklahoma to Arizona and feel at a loss as I don't know of anyone is this area that might even come close to holding a candle to HONDURA in OKC

We have owned Honda's since August of 1980, since 1982 we have taken them for repairs and service to Johan's. This place is so good that Honda dealerships complain about them to Honda and they recently had to get a new sign because something in the sign was to big! Give me a break. They help keep honda's good name. All I know is that I get excellent, caring service for a fair price and if I do what they tell me too my Honda runs great! I currently have a 1998 Honda CRV with 177,000 miles and we are preparing to purchase second one. Not as a replacement but as an additional vehicle I cannot say enough good things about them.
