I'm not sure about all of the particulars of their policies. They are a very clean shop dealing extremely competently with all types of foreign cars. They may be a little pricy, but if you have a foreign car you expect that anyway.

I have always had great service from Foriegn Exchange on my Volkswagen. Their garage, which is very clean, is staffed by competent mechanics who know the intricacies of working on VW's. They have been amenable to installing parts that I've purchased from third parties. Importantly, I've found their pricing of major repairs to be very reasonable. I recommend this garage to all those who I know with foreign makes, especially German autos.

Posted February 2007 I've been a customer of Foreign Exchange since moving to Dayton about 5 years ago. When I moved to the area, I wasn't worried about finding a good doctor, dentist, accountant, or lawyer. I was concerned about finding a good mechanic. I tried Foreign Exchange on the the advice of a friend and have been very pleased. They have worked on my VW, Saab, and even a Nissan. They are very personable, their approach is preventative, and they've always been honest. I highly recommend them. I've rated them 5 across the board, except for two "4's" - for price, their labor rate isn't the cheapest, but cost is not my most important criteria, but they are very competitive. My only complaint - parking my VW next to a Porsche gave my car an inferiority complex.
