They will even check out a car that you may want to
purchase, usually for no charge. Advise that you call
ahead. They will schedule service time if the customer is
unable to leave the car and has to wait. This has happened
to me on more that one occasion.

We have taken our cars there for at least 10 years. Jay
has checked cars before we have purchased them, answered
questions from me when I was in Boston having trouble with
my sister's car, replaced an engine, had someone drive my
husband home, and sometimes hasn't even charged for
checking for a problem. He fits the car or van in when we
have an emergency and even let the bill ride for a week
when we didn't have the money. My husband says, "He always
goes the extra mile."

As a retired GM dealer, 44 yrs. in auto business, I truly
appreciate this business. I've enjoyed every visit to their
shop.

I've had a couple of things done here to two different
vehicles. Both times they did what I asked at a reasonable
rate. I'm moving soon a few miles farther away, and I hate
that I just recently discovered them.
They aren't the cheapest, but they are reasonable, and they
have done a good job for me. I would recommend them to
anyone. I have had some work done at other places nearby,
and I wish it had been done here.

My fiance drives a 98 VW Beetle and she needed new spark
plugs, ignition coil, and a couple other things replaced.
The dealership, where we had been taking her car, quoted
her around $900 to fix everything. Well we looked up a
mechanic on Cartalk's website and found these guys and gave
them a try. Not only were they really really nice to her
(and didn't try to swindle her or treat her like an idiot
the way a lot of mechanics treat women), but they did all
the work for around $650.
I drive a Cadillac CTS and a lot of mechanics won't touch
this thing because it's apparently tricky to repair, so
I've been going to the Cadillac dealership for everything.
I finally got fed up with their ridiculous prices and
crummy management and I asked Mike if they work on
Cadillacs at his shop. He tells me they have a guy who
works there who worked at a Cadillac dealership for 10
years! THey have done a few things for me recently and
have always been very reasonable with pricing (especially
on labor) and they're good about working around your
schedule for picking up and dropping off your car. I only
selected VW and Cadillac but I'm sure they work on pretty
much any make or model.
