We have taken an Escort, Eagle, Dodge, Chrysler, and Lumina APV here since they first opened at this location. Repairs are not cheap, but worth it; routine maintenance is expensive but they really do all of the things on the maitainance list! They have never failed to do the work right the first time, on time, and on estimate. Unexpected repairs have become rare since using their maintenance. They use original factory parts when possible. However, the Escort had what I considered a very poor A.C., which constantly required expensive repairs. When the non-Freon A/C kits first became available, I asked them to research if it would be better to install one of these. They made me a deal-- for 1 year, if I didn't like it better than the original A.C. for any reason, they would either fix it free, or install a complete Ford original system, my choice. Years later, it has never needed repairs or maintenance.

My '89 Ford truck had gotten to the point where it did not run smoothly, even after a tune up at the dealer. I took it in to RJ Wheels last year for a safety chack and a tune up, and it has run great since, making the circuit from Ohio to North Carolina to Texas, and back to Ohio. Last week I took it in to get the windshield washer pump replaced. The old reservoir was brittle and cracked when the new pump was put in causing it to leak. After attempting unsuccessfully to repair it, they ordered a new one from Ford, and installed it at no charge. I offered to pay for the part, since I felt that they shouldn't have to pay for the fact that plastic becomes brittle with age, but they refused. I have recommended this shop to friends and family.

They replaced the rotors and one of the front brake calipers on a truck for me. The rotors they used started to warp soon after the repair, and the caliper they replaced seized, wrecking the rotor. The warranty on the parts was past so I was SOL; I paid the same amount again to do the same repair a year later. I don't really know what to think, the second repair has lasted 2 years now without any issues. Bad parts maybe? Otherwise, they seemed to be know what they were doing. They took too long to do the job - several days for a 2 hour job. They seemed to be more honest than several other shops in the same area - but that isn't saying much; there are no "Honest" shops around here that I can find, they all pad the bill with unnecessary repairs and replacements.
