We had the alternator replaced. We had recently replaced it ourselves but didn't do such a good job. Valentinos managed to get our new alternator replaced which was still under warranty and also the belt that was damaged by the alternator trom the parts store for no extra cost. We weren't charged any extra for the parts. We paid only for the labor. They could have easily charged us for the belt and we would have never been the wiser. We've finally found an auto mechanic that meets our criteria!

These are perhaps the most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with in my life. They fix what needs fixing and even provide cost/benefit analysis for long/short-term repairs. Once, they even told me what the other mechanic had done wrong when I left them for a competitor's coupon and only charged me half price for the diagnosis. I'll never make that mistake again--stick with Valentino's.

Valentinos has done a good amount of work for me. Theyve always done a good job, been professional and courteous, and completed in the promised time. On occasions when I have lacked other transportation options, they even provided a ride for me to my job or home! I recommemd them highly.

Whew!! I finally found a good mechanic. If you have multiple problems with your car, they will help prioritize what needs fixed today and what can wait until another payday.

I have been going there since I moved to the area. I have never had any problems and the staff is always very friendly. I have used them for both body and mechanical work. My girlfriend has also taken her car there with the same results.

In 1989, one of those quickie places, which shall remain nameless but whose initials are M***s, told me it would cost nearly $800 for brakes on my 1984 Chevette. (Hey, I was desperate for wheels!) They were charging for everything from a brakeline flush to "brake hardware," putting on new rotors, since they contended my old ones could not be turned, etc. They came down to just over $550 by agreeing to use used drums and rotors, but that was it. I told them to put in on the ground and I'd go elsewhere. Valentino's did all four for $175 plus tax. Rotors, drums, etc., were just fine to be turned they said. I highly recommend them!

I trust them and they know what they are doing. Little extras, pickup car and deliver, put tire pressure you want even if not what recommend. They are probably right but I can be opinionated at times.

We have taken two Subarus (97 & 2008 Outback wagons) to Valentino's for over a decade, but have just had a discouraging experience: a radiator repair to the 1997 that went bad (radiator overheated and exhaust flowed into it, wrecking the car engine) ON THE DAY MY SON (28) PICKED IT UP. The response was, Sorry, stuff happens. It was fine when it left here. No accommodation offered (other than to let the car sit there till we got it towed). Now I'm wondering if this shop is as reliable and competent as I thought. I'd like to know about others' experience with them.
