Howard's father and mother (Mr. & Mrs. Mike Frum) have owned Mike's Service for more than thirty years and, in the words of Mom, "We don't cheat nobody!" They're very dear people who really care about cars and their drivers.

Howard and his employees are outstanding. I have absolute
confidence that repairs are done right and their prices are
extremely fair and competitive. They give excellent advice
on what repairs are urgent, or can wait awhile, when a car
is nearing its life's end, and what are reliable cars for
purchase. I unconditionally recommend this mechanic.

Recently purchased a used vehicle for my daughter. I took
it to this shop to have it checked over. I had multiple
conversations with Howard (owner) regarding what needed to
be done (more than I expected) and how he planned to
approach it. He decided it was important to do certain
work first so that we would know if it was worth starting
some of the other work. Not only did he complete the work
in a timely manner, he made sure to show me all the old
parts and where/why they failed. He also noticed (too late
to complete the repair) that the headlights were not aimed
properly. He asked me to stop back to completed that at my
convenience.
A second story is that when a co-worker whose car is
usually serviced here had a breakdown on a highway about 60
miles away, Howard went above and beyond the call of duty
to go on his personal time to pickup the car and bring it
back for repair. He could have just as easily told my co-
worker to make her own arrangements to have it towed in.
Howard is very honest, trustworthy and skilled.

Howard is a great mechanic. He's kept my car running a lot
longer than I expected, especially considering it's '96 Neon
with 140,000 miles. I recently moved from Cleveland to Salt
Lake City, and before I left, I took the car to him one last
time to make sure it would get there okay. Well, it
survived the trip and still runs great.
