First of all, my sister, 58 years old and having a long time fear of garages, found this guy and had him service her Chevy. She wouldn't say anything bad about him which is unusuall for her. Secondly, I worked as a mechanic in a dealership when I was younger. I've still got my tools and am willing to do most of my own work but I don't have a garage. I bought a 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SEC recently and decided it needed some maintenance work done right away to bring it back up to snuff. This was engine work and I wasn't going to do it outside in January in Ohio. I went to Mike and showed him the job, he agreed to do it. He let me buy all my own parts without complaint and I let him do the job when the best opportunity came along. Mike called the day he did the job, he had just opened the engine up and one of the parts being replaced didn't look bad, he wanted to know if I wanted him to continue. I got a hard job done at a great price. It would have cost twice as much at an independent foreign car service and four times as much at a Mercedes dealership. Mike is a real mechanic. His favorite cars happen to be AMC because he races one at the local strips. It's just a tiny shop but there is a real mechanic inside.

Mike and his shop are very honest people. I have not taken my car there for electrical/computer problems, but basic mechanical stuff, they do a great job. You can drop your car off before they open, but they don't open until 9am, and they close at 5pm.
