I normally have my Saturn serviced by the dealer, but BAE
is right across the street from where I work (Ben Venue
Laboratories) so I have used them for emergencies --
exhaust system sunned death, dislocation of windshield
wiper, light bulbs out (one of which he replaced absolutely
free!). The latest was a coolant system light on/off on my
way in to work. Dave Bartl checked everything out,
couldn't find a problem, and DID NOT CHARGE ME!. He
recommended that I monotor coolant level and enging
temperature and have the dealer look at it if it happened
again (suspecting a sensor malfunction). Of course, it
didn't -- until Friday, when it went on/off twice on my way
in and I had to drive to Cleveland after work. Dave spent
a considerable amount of time and finally discovered a
crack in the reservoir -- which was slowly losing coolant
and causing sporadic triggering of the sensor. I'm female,
and he always talks to me as if he expects that I will
understand what he's saying -- not condescendlingly like IT
people, for example. BAE also gives 10% discounts to BVL
people.
