I had a very positive experience with Rue's Auto Imports. The front end of my car had been creaky, so I took it in to have it looked at. The mechanic looked at my car for about an hour, trying to identify the problem (i.e., he was very thorough.) Before I left, he showed me what a steering column (the apparent culprit of the creakiness) looked like and, on top of that, didn't charge me anything to look at it!

I have taken my Honda Accord to Rue's for close to two years now. They have always made me feel that my car is cared for and that I'm getting the repairs I need. The shop is not convenient to my home and they have worked with me to schedule repairs in a helpful way. They always explain what is needed, check with me before making repairs, and often do additional service at no charge. When a follow-up was needed they accomodated my schedule generously. As far as the "Male/female" question above: they have never talked down to me or made me feel that I was less than a valued customer.
