Charlie, Ralph, and Anthony (owners) as well as the rest of the staff, are honest and courteous. They fix the problem quick, and stick to the estimate they give you. They fix the problem the FIRST time (the worst thing i hate in car repair is having to go back, heck i could take a guess at what the problem is , and try to change a part i thing is the problem to save money and get it wrong) they always diagnose the problem correctly , and fix it in a timely manner, with no high pressure tactics...been going there 7 yrs, no complaints, highly recommended, fair prices (labor $60 an hr, about the going rate these days, at least in this area

The guys at Reaction were terrific! I was stranded in Whitestone (a very nice neighborhood btw) with a Saturn which had first lost power steering, then the radio, and then came to a complete stop right before the Whitestone Bridge. I coasted off the last exit ramp, in a panic. I suspected it was the alternator or a belt, due to the whine. The next morning, Reaction answered the phone courteously and Frank, or Anthony took the information, and even offered that maybe I didn't need to have the car towed (what a relief) if they could "booster" it to their shop, half a mile away. Within a few hours, they had gotten my car to their shop without a tow, diagnosed the problem as a belt and "tensioner", and fixed it by day's end. They gave me a reasonable estimate, (I checked online) and always treated this grandmother from Connecticut with courtesy, patience and politeness, even re-attaching a license plate holder at no charge. I give these guys HIGH marks, not only for the prompt and reliable work they did, but for dispelling any fear of New York City rip-off of a woman in car trouble. Thanks for renewing my faith in the goodness of good guys in the Big Apple!
