This may be kinda strange, since I no longer live anywhere near White Plains, but since I am looking for a mechanic in my new location, I thought I'd take the time to give Mario a recommendation. I miss him! He's honest, efficient, doesn't laugh at me when I try to make car noises. On the rare occasions when his shop hasn't gotten the repair right the first time, the second repair has been free (unless it involves some major part, of course, he's not stupid). If I say the car is making a weird noise or is acting funny, he takes it for a ride. If there are two possible courses of action, he always tries the less expensive one first. He doesn't treat men and women customers alike, though. He flirts shamelessly with the women. But only if you are in the mood. If you prefer to remain businesslike, he'll do so. Personally, I liked the flirting -- it made car trouble a little less annoying!

They were prompt and very helpful. They offered services in case I experienced more difficulties and walked me through exactly what had happened with my car and why they did what they did. They were incredibly honest and helpful. I felt very comfortable and safe in their hands. Mario himself came to jump my car, worked on it, and explained in detail what they had done for me. All in all it was a very good experience. They'll be the first ones I call when I have car trouble again!
