I called several shops that advertised themselves as Foreign Car specialists but as soon as I said Jaguar they lost interest. I was beginning to think I had made a huge blunder in buying what I thought was a great car. Then one day I was getting gas and a woman pulled in with a newer Jag and we got talking about the cars. Naturally I asked where she had it serviced and she told me about Patrick and gave me his number. I've been going there for about two years now and have always been pleased with the service.

I finally found a Range Rover I could afford and was in decent shape only to find out that no one would work on it! Fortunately a mail-order Rover accessory store gave me Patrick's number and I've been taking it to him since. When I heard the name of his shop I knew he'd be a neat guy, and he sure is. As luck would have it, he also services Jaguars so my boyfriend brings his car there, too. Sometimes we drop one off as we're picking the other one up.

Very honest and helpful. You get the feeling right away that you're not "getting taken for a ride". Took the dread out of auto repairs for me.

Pat is one of the most honest and intelligent people I've ever met. His biggest fault is not charging enough for the extra time that he spends giving advice and direction. If you have a range rover, jag, bimmer, etc. he's your guy. Just don't be a cheapskate and pay the guy when he gives you the bill. It would be alot more anywhere else. If the jag repairs are too expensive or frequent, you own the wrong car. Remember nobody else but the dealer will work on it except him, and he knows his stuff. He also is adept at the more run of the mill cars as well. If you can't get a straight answer on something from the dealership or another mechanic, look him up. He is located in a bit of a hole in the wall in beautiful downtown Troy. Don't let that throw you off, though, he's great.

Patrick is honest as can be. He is willing to lend advice to customers concerning what work is necessary and what is not. In addition, he has a comprehensive understanding of the mechanical as well as electrical elements of my Land Rover Discovery '98. Interestingly, I turned to Patrick's shop from the dealer over my frustration by their lack of ability or willingness to solve certain problems. Insofar as my experience is concerned, Patrick has a 100% success rate in repairing my vehicle. What's more, he is always a pleasure to deal with. If you need a Rover hospital, this is the place to go.

Patrick could be repairing space shuttles or writing novels, whatever he wants to do. We are so fortunate he choses to repair Jaguars. If he didn't, we couldn't have the car of our dreams.
