Good guy, good service, honest evaluation of your VW, good price, good turn around time for repairs. He likes to fix what is too much for you to do,be it your time or ability. He will show you how to do maintenance yourself if you ask. very competitively priced, very good work.

Now that i have a Saturn, having wrecked my beloved VW 7 years ago, i hope they can tolerate/service this car which is Farfromnewbynow.

Ed knows vw's. his prices are fair. He also encourages people to do all of the repairs themselves that they can, he likes the jobs that require more skill.

We've taken our VW's to Ed for years. He always fixes them well and lets us know if something may come up in the near future. He shows us the parts he took off and why they needed replacement. His prices are very reasonable and the work is done in a timely manor. We have recommended him to dozens of people.

After having lots of expensive encounters with mechanics in the syracuse area, a friend recommended Ed and it was possibly the best advice I ever got. He remembers you by car, will test drive the car with you to discuss the problems, will take you under the car and show you what is wrong and give you all the scenarios, plus he doesn't overcharge on labor, which is a releif.

Mr Karpinski has always treated us fairly and always fixed our cars with a minimum of fuss and expense. He also lets us know when he sees something in our cars that may go wrong or that we should be aware of for future repairs. He shows us the parts he changed and always had our cars ready for pick up when he estimated. We don't go anywhere else for VW repairs.
