I was referred to this shop by a garage that didn't fix SAAB's. Nick treated me, and seems to treat everyone who walks in the shop, fairly and honestly. He talked as much "car guy" talk as I was willing to fake, and showed me what he was doing, why, and how. He found the right solution to a vibrating CV joint, and later installed some brake and suspension parts that I wanted replaced ( and purchased elsewhere). The mechanics in his shop are mostly just as amiable and fair as he is. My wife brought her Jetta to them when Nick was on vacation, and they didn't treat her like a second class citizen. The neighborhood is so-so, but it's right on a bus line, and he's even open some Saturdays. He seems to work on just about any vehicle.

Nick the owner is always there working along side his other mechanics and seems to have a passion for working on cars. I am one of those guys who has a "little" knowledge about cars, which could get me into trouble. Nick always is willing to talk cars, motorcycles, etc. and is really good at explaining the ins and outs of the repair job. He also is very kind to me when explaining why my guess at what was wrong with the car was "off". It is refreshing, because the actual problem is usually something a lot less expensive. I will be bringing my two ford tauruses (94) and (00) to Nick until they are "kaput".

I needed to get an alternator replaced on my 99 Civic. I called around to at least a half dozen places and these guys had a price for parts and labor that was less than just the part everywhere else. I also read some of the comments from other folks and they lived up to them. They treated me with the utmost respect and explained what they were going to do, how the part functions, and what typically goes on when the part fails. I was truly impressed. Highly recommended.
