I highly recommend Jim Quadrini, a long-time mechanic at Dick Ide - he's kept my '93 Subaru Impreza running well past 240K miles. He'd always let me know if I was undertaking an expensive repair, what the options might be (or how long I could safely put it off....) Even though I didn't buy my car from them originally, they would provide a loaner if my car was going to be in the shop for the day. Jim wouldn't make unneccesary repairs, and always went above and beyond the call of duty.....!

The best dealership service department I've ever encountered and one of the best repair places of any kind. I've had service done on my 2000 Prelude, now pushing 100k miles, since I bought it there. I've found that they do not try to push work that doesn't need to be done. For instance, all my brake rotors and half of the pads are now going for 100,000 miles and I would have half-expected to hear from a repair place, around 40k miles or so, that I 'ought to start thinking of pads and rotors.' Not here. They keep checking and saying I can go longer before replacing. Now that's honest! I've had lifetime oil changes, with a loaner when I request, for $20 when I bought the car. You can probably get work done cheaper elsewhere, but if you want a very competent and up-front service facility, this is it.
