I just sent you an e-mail about Kenny. But I'll try to repeat what I said. I found out about him through a friend who says he is the only honest mechanic she has ever met. After my experience with him. Me too. The first time I took my little 1989 Black Nissan 300ZX to Kenny a year and a half ago, he told me when I picked it up: "Bad news for me. Your car is in great shape. I didn't have to do anything but change the oil." I just took the car in this weekend for a major check up and he said: "The grinding noise you hear occasionally when the gears change as you speed up means the transmission is going. But don't worry, it could last another few years. We'll just watch it." My friend who recommended Kenny told me that she got a $1800 quote from one the transmission chains for her old Chevie. Kenny changed the transmission for $900. This guy deserves a medal.

I had air conditioning work done on my Honda's and Kenny was a gem. He advised me of the lowest cost alternatives for service and did a great job. I would recommend him in a second to my friends.

Friendly hard working shop. My check engine light was on so they replaced the sensor. To give have the car pass inspection I needed to drive it for a few days to reset the engine. Showed up a few days later to leave the car to have the inspection finished and Kenny asked if I could wait. We'll get you in right after that car and you'll be done in 15 minutes. He was right and I was on my way to work. Made his day telling him I found his shop from the Car Talk website, he didn't know he was listed. He's known in town to help the many young men working there get certifed. Open from 8am to 10 pm as well. Give them a try and you won't go anywhere else.
