The real reason I thought to add Rob and his gang is the following. I haven't been to the shop lately as I am doing more of my maitenance but wanted to talk about him doing the timing belt on my 02 CRV. Said he would check into it and call me with a price. He calls back the very same day and discovered after some effort on his part no such thing on the 02 CRV. I was so impressed that he took the time and effort to find that out despite that I haven't been there for awhile. And when I have used them they have been terrific. gretchen

I would recommend A&H Automotive to any one in the Kingston area. They are busy because they are honest and do good work at a reasonable cost.

I always find the guys there to very competent and helpful. And they will repair any screw ups even if not thier fault. I had a fuel pump repaired on my truck by them. And a few days later the vehicle began to leak gasoline on the ground becuase of a faulty gasket on the new pump. They came to where the vehicle was, even though it was a weekend, and then paid to have it towed back to thier shop where they repaired it that Monday. All free of charge.

Nice guys and competent. Prices are market rate. They did have a problem sorting out ERG issue with my Honda civic and eventually I had to take to the Honda dealer (who also had a hard time sourcing the cause). I still take my cars there.

When I was new to the area (1 1/2 years ago) a guy at work recommended this shop to me, which luckiily is within walking distance to work. They are fair and honest, and will recommend another shop (ie I needed a muffler pipe welded)when it is something they cannot do. They worked on my 97 Saturn SL2 as well as my 2005 Suzuki Grand vitara and I trust them completely.
