This shop is a husband and wife team that also has a used auto parts yard. It is unbelievable to me how honest they are. For instance, at times I've asked them to fix something that another shop may have pointed out, and they've said, "Nah. It's fine. Check it again in six months". They have gone above and beyond as far as diagnosing some really tricky problems. For instance, I spent about 45 minutes driving with the wife around the back country roads waiting for my van to make it's rare, intermittent electronic problem, while she lay upside down under the (passenger side) of the dash with her diagnostic equipment hooked to the black box there, waiting for it to act up. This was after already spending a lot of time trying to diagnose this problem. They finally fixed it, and for a fraction of what they should have charged for all the time they put into it. They seemed like they had really become interested in the challenge, and didn't take the typical route of just replacing stuff until stumbling on the right part that fixed it. I'd go to them for every little oil change, except they are about forty minutes from where I live, which is a bit of a pain. But I keep going back to them for more major stuff after not getting anywhere near the same level of service from local guys. Their facility is not fancy, but they seem to have a true understanding of what makes things tick. I have heard they have all sorts of factory training and high tech equpment, but can't vouch for that personally. Oh, and if you need a part that they have on a car out back, they'll offer that option. Great place!
