John & Mark Schumer have worked on my cars for years. They are always friendly, and very honest. They've checked out "noises & shaking stuff" many times, and have told me when it was safe to delay fixing something. They check over the car carefully, and let me know when things need fixing so that I'll be safe. They explain things well to a moderately intelligent but mechanically impaired female. My favorite "serendipity" moment: I used to drive 70+ miles to work a day. I carpooled sometimes, and we met in Ron's Garage parking lot, leaving a vehicle there. We usually took my car. One snowy winter morning, while waiting for my carpool pal (who always got to sleep on the way!), there was suddenly a lot of steam coming from the hood area. I momentarily hoped (although really knowing I was doomed) that the car had warmed up and melted more snow off the hood... Lo and behold, the radiator had let go. The bottom had rusted through (thank you road salt, used in snowy Buffalo). Five minutes later and wed have been on the interstate. They fixed it that day. It was warmed up and waiting when we arrived on our way home from work!
