After being a long time listener of cartalk and having a problem with my past mechanic I decided it was time to search for another. The drive to this shop was about 45 minutes but after reading the posts I decided it might be worth it. I called before I drove there and they told me that they could scan my car but probably not fix it for a couple of days(bummer). They did have a loaner car though. After I got there thought they ended up fixing it on the spot. WOW! They also fixed my front brakes and a tailgate rattle that I have been trying to get repaired for years. Cartalk, THANK YOU. I highly recommend these guys!

My Audi timing belt broke and I was towed into the dealership. It ended up damaging my engine and they wanted $8900 to replace it! The service manager actually recommended that I have my car brought down to these guys. They installed a used engine for about 1/3 the price. They cleaned my car inside and out too. They were extremely friendly and let me borrow one of their personal cars while mine was being fixed. I don't know how I can thank them enough and I would highly recommend them.

The new shop is beautiful and is fun to just visit even when my car doesn't need service! Thanks GFS for always being there for your customers:)

I have been dealing with the Fitzgerald Family for over 10 years. I bought a Volvo240 wagon from them it lasted me 10 years, and thier repairs were reasonable. I just recently bought a Saab 9-5 and would highly recommend them. I tend to ask alot of questions, they are very patient and explain in detail any time I have a question. As a female I feel very comfortable going to them.

If you live in the greater Geneva area, these guys are great. This is a family owned business for over 30yrs specializing in Saabs and Volvos, although we bring our Subaru there too. They stand behind their work, are flexible with appointments, and have been honest about what does and doesnt need fixing. They have even offered a local ride to/ from work when they keep our car for the day. Their prices are in line with everyone else's and their synthetic oil changes are $15 cheaper than the chain place across the street. I have had a really positive experience with this shop, and would recommend them.

I really enjoy going to Geneva Foreign and Sports because everyone is so friendly and helpful. Everyone knows you by name and they provide exceptional service. I can tell the mechanics are all very knowledgable. I especially enjoy playing with the employees dogs that are there! I would strongly recommend GFS to anyone. I'll never go anywhere else for service or a new car!

These guys are GREAT! My family has been bringing their cars to them for over 30 years. My parents and have bought "several" cars from them including the one that saved my life during a recent accident! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dependable, honest, well trained mechanic. Their new shop is absolutely beautiful and they always have a hot cup of coffee waiting for you :)

I moved to Geneva a couple years ago and discovered their repair shop on the 5 and 20. They've since moved to Route 14 near the thruway exit. They were the only shop in town that took the time to diagnose the problem and get it fixed for me. My car was having a very unusual, intermittent problem. It wouldn't occur all the time, but their mechanics actually drove the car around until the problem occured. They were the only shop that was willing to go that extra mile.
