Phil has always been fair to me. When I took my Subaru Wagon in for regular maintenance I also needed a new tail light lens. They charged me for a full hour of service even though they were working on the car anyway. I know it did not take an hour to replace one lens. After they told me the car was finished they called back and spoke to my wife and told her I needed front and back brakes. It was going to cost $400 for that. They asked my wife if they should go ahead and fix them. Thank God she said "No wait to speak with my husband." When I talk to them I said I will get it done somewhere else. They said it might effect my warranty. I said I want to have my guy check it out anyway. Phil looked at the brakes and said I had at least another 3000 Miles on the front and more on the rear. All I need is new tires which he told me I could get on sale at Sears. He did not charge me at all for this!
