Was referred by a friend when I ran out of patience with other local mechanics/shops, and despite having to travel some 10 miles or so from my house to use this shop, have never considered looking elsewhere. When it was time to replace our minivan with another, he advised on which engine to look for, and offered to go over any vehicle I was interested in before making an offer. He found hidden defects or potential problems with a half-dozen minivans before giving the go-ahead on the one we bought used. It has given 30,000 miles of great service so far. No charge for the pre-buying inspections. Just a favor.
