Ray specializes in front end work- alignments etc. and frame work. This is by far the most competent, honest, and reasonable garage I have ever seen. Ray will often request that you pick up your own parts- highly unusual! Not a backyard mechanic but a skilled tradesman that earns his living from doing his job efficiently and well. Definately worth the drive if you live in Syracuse. His shop is actually in Central Square.

extremely competent FRAME and ALIGNMENT shop prices are the lowest and mac's service is excellant. Ray will often times suggest that you pick up your own parts in order to save $$. p.s. I submitted this entry a couple, few weeks ago and was suprised not to find it . This is truely an unmatched shop in the N. Syracuse area.

I have had framework done on 3 different vehicles at Mac'c and had nothing but great work and results from them at very reasonable prices. The rear axle on one vehicle was not tracking true, the dealer quoted $400 plus labor to replace the parts and insisted it could not be repaired. Mac's repaired it for $200. Another vehicle, 1998 Grand Voyager, the front strut towers were rusted out so badly they (another shop) were surprised that the struts were still attached. They said I needed both tierods replaced as well. Mac's performed a thorough inspection of my front end, showed me exactly what he found and recommended that one tierod be replaced as well as the strut towers be rebuild (reinforced with steel plates) and a front end alignment. He recommended that I bring the part and he did the job for $425. I have been told by mechanics as far away as Florida that the strut tower repair is the best they have ever seen. I highly recommend this shop; they are very honest, professional, and competent, and work with the customer to try and keep the price down.
