Mr. Panetta and his 2 sons are great. They really like what they are doing, and actually do it on their off hours. They have built parade cars, they recently restored an old Ford tractor, and there is always a new project in the shop. They have the new NY State inspection machine, which is hard to find. Most importantly, they are honest, hard working individuals. They do careful, quality work, and have pride in what they do. They are a rarity in the car repair world.

I've had my vehicle repaired at Arthur Panetta Auto
Service a few times. They're located at 70A Bell Street
in West Babylon, easy to find. I'm always amazed the way I
am greeted by the owner Arty who takes his time chatting
with you regarding your vehicle, while his Receptionist is
fixing me a cup of coffee. Such a caring and friendly
environnment.
After going to Arty's place over the years I've learned of
the family history. His father, Mr. Panetta had his Auto
shop years ago in that same area. His wife would spend
all morning cooking for him and all of his employees, not
to mention some family who stopped in from time to time.
I see now that this family tradition has been carried over
to Arty's shop. His Mom cooks wonderful sandwishes hot
and cold, and his Dad delivers them to the shop everyday.
They even offered me one while Arty worked on my car.
I was so pleased with not only the work that was done on
my vehicle in a timely fashion, but to experience how this
incredible operation works. So wonderful to know there is
a place you can still go to get your vehicle repaired the
right way the first time, have a cup of coffee and chat
awhile.

Artie and his father before him have worked on all the cars
in my family over the years. I would never have gone back
time and time again if I were not satisfied with the people
and work that has been done. Having coffee and a snack is a
plus that you would not expect at a repair shop, everything
and everyone are very friendly and cordial to both men and
women. If something might need to be replaced or repaired
Artie makes you aware of the problem and lets you decide
when and where to have the work done. His repair rates are
reasonable. I cannot heap enough praise on Artie, his
employees and his family. I love them all!
