My car is 9+ years old, exposed to a northeast seaside environment all the time and Nick and his brothers have worked on just about every major part except the drive train (thank God). They explain everything, let me know what they can and can't do, give good time estimates (1 day job, 2 day, etc) and stick to them, and they keep all the old parts for me to look at or keep if I want (I don't want.) Over the years, they have replaced the exahaust system, shocks/struts, radiator, water pump, starter and alternator. Except for short lived items (exhaust, shocks) I have never gone back for the same problem twice -- I just have a continuing series of new problems, but I like it a lot so I live with the problems of an old car. Everyone who works there tries to help even if they're evidently swamped. For instance, prior to going on a long trip my car comes up with yet another new and interesting noise. Nervous, I take it to Nick's late in the day and without an appointment and ask if someone can figure out the noise -- Nick did without any sign of inconvenience and made a few adjustments to something to make it quiet. The only drawback -- sort of -- is that Nick is gregarious likes to explain ALL the work they did and if parts are involved, you even get show and tell. I happen to like it, but some people may not want to know all the details.
