I have a 1972 oldsmobile cutlass convertible which blew
its' engine. I went to another shop and had the engine
replaced(didn't know about Millers)after I got the car back
I had a problem with the transmission not upshifting-but
since I wasn't happy with the engine shop, I tried 3 other
shops, without success-I wasn't sure if the engine was a
lemmon, or the tranny had died, and I had the tranny
replaced-no help. the third shop was a tranny shop, but
they wanted me to add several non-stock linkages to operate
the shifting, so I tried some other dealers of linkages,
the 2nd one suggested I try Millers as they were very good
at trouble shooting. I brought the car to the Miller shop,
and they found that the actual problem was the engine shop
had put the shift cable used for upshifts on wrong. Millers
fixed the problem in about 2 hours. the charge was minimal
and I am overjoyed with my car again. the sad part is it
took me 4 years to find Millers.
i have been back for several other items-fuel hoses, and
replacement of my front grills which were damaged by the
engine shop, and i continue to get grat service and very
good prices.
The Miller shop builds hot rods from the ground up, and
when i've been there i've seen them working on a wide
verity of cars, import and domestic.
