Lavern's is an old fashioned repair place that will either fix any problem on any make, or tell you where else you should take it. He's not fancy, or glossy, but I always know I can trust the wrok he has done. It took us 10 years of trial and error to find him, now he'd better not retire any time soon!

I have been stationed in Clovis for a year, and found Lavern's on this site. It is the first time I have had to have any major work done on the truck since moving to Clovis. Lavern has a very fair price and is very knowledgeable. You will not find an ad in the yellow pages; it is only listed in the white pages. The only issue I can see people having with Lavern's is that is not the fastest repair shop. It took about a week before they were able to bring it in to the garage and find the problem. However, after the problem was found, it only took Lavern a day to get the parts and install them. Luckily I was out of town the entire time and it was not an issue. But again, it is a small shop and they do not have the staff to turn cars out like they could at a dealership. However you are going to get a fair price and a honest answer. I am very satisfied with the repairs from Lavern's and will return in the future if I have any future issues with my truck.
