Very good at what they do. Takes time to explain your problem and goes out of way to meet your schedule

Tom has worked on 2 classic/antique Studebaker Avanti's for me. The work included rebuilding front end, total suspension and exhaust replacement, upgrading brakes, shocks and springs. The transmission was sent out for specialized work and completed early and very affordable. Later I had the 64 Studebaker R2 engine removed for a complete rebuild with upgrades. The work was priced as agreed and delivered in a resonable time. One car needed extensive electrical work as fuses kept shorting out. The other car had air conditioning problems that were fairly diagnosed. I could go on and on and on, honestly, this is a skilled mechanic who works fairly and honestly.

My girlfriend needed to buy a car and have it looked at before she bought. My husband had driven by the shop on the way to work and always noticed a variety of cars that did not seem to stay very long. He suggested I tell my friend. She took the car to Tom Fabian and had him look at the car she wanted to buy. He only charged a little money to review the car and very quickly he saw a number of problems that caused her not to buy from a local used car guy. The $25 he charged probably saved her nearly $950.00 or more. I think he will find a car for her that she can trust. Seems like Tom runs a small business like a trusted neighbor. I guess the people in Union Beach are lucky to have him around, especially on Saturday.
