I live in New Brunswick and i drive all the way to Old bridge.Because it's worth it.I just love the way he get s things done in time.I had a problem with my car it wouldn't start Uncle Mel helped me with picking my car up and fixing it .The best part is MEL gave me his personal car as i wanted a car for my Commute..He is Really human about fixing the car reasonably unlike other who literally suck your blood. If i live in New Jersey i would continue going to Mel's garage. Whatever problem i have with my car, Mel fixes it. YOU ARE THE BEST! :) Thank you Mel

Mel is great! I took my car there for a problem I have been having for a long time, and he fixed it right the first time even when the dealer couldn't find the problem and it had been to the dealer 3 times! He was very reasonable for price, and he explained everything and why it needed to be done. I have been back since for other issues that I have been putting off, and he has always been easy to work with and has done the repairs quickly for a reasonable cost and with the highest quality! I would recommend Mel to anyone who needs their car serviced!

We took our '98 Civic to Mel's for an overdue timing belt replacement. Mel explained the repair thoroughly and knew exactly what to do. When we picked up the car, we found the hood was damaged from the mechanic trying to lower the hood without removing the prop rod. Mel agreed to replace the hood, which he did a few weeks later. The week after the car was repaired, one of the belts he replaced was found to be shredded due to an improperly installed pulley. The car had to be towed for repair, which Mel performed free of charge. Finally, the check engine light went on a couple weeks after the timing belt repair. The code indicated a problem with the camshaft position sensor. This time, we took the car to a Honda dealer. The sensor had gone bad due to a cut wire, and required a $400 R&R. Mel agreed to pay for the damaged sensor.

Mel is honest, inexpensive, knowledgeable, friendly, and goes above and beyond to provide the best quality service. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the area.
