I took my ancient Honda Accord in for a timing belt change after I called a half dozen shops, including the dealer, for quotes on the repair, and Balducci's Mobil (which is actually the LukOil across the street from Pep Boys) was half the price of everyone else. I stopped in a day before the work was scheduled to be done to meet with the owner and check out the place and Mr. Balducci was gracious, accommodating, and understood that I didn't want to break the bank on a fourteen year old car. He took the time to come out, look over the car, and provide the same estimate that I was quoted over the phone. The shop is open 24 hours a day, so one can drop their vehicle off at anytime. When I dropped mine off after work, he even had an employee (who was also incredibly nice) give me a ride back to my house! The repair was done within the promised time and the final bill was right within the low estimate which, when you get down to brass tacks, is all that really matters. I'm incredibly pleased with the whole experience and wholeheartedly recommend his shop!

These guys are great. They are very down to earth, VERY very reasonable with prices (the bill always seems to be missing a digit or something), and they are downright sheepish about things they can't fix for you by their standards and won't charge you when the same result at a less scrupulous place would lead to pride and a notable bill. AND to retain customer loyalty they'll check pretty much anything on your car for free, and they'll check out any car you're considering for purchase for free as well. They are rather busy on the weekends, but are reasonably accomodating regardless and are also available on weekdays. If a car driven by a stranger in our area is belching blue smoke, I'll go out of my way to tell them where to go and how to get there. Ironically, they are right by PEP BOYS on Route 70 in Marlton, what a neat contrast! The Marlton Diner is a close walk in case you want some nice eggs while waiting for your business to conclude. They are a magnicent all-around auto-repair shop, and I believe they've put together their own trophy-winning race-cars (dragsters, if I remember correctly) according to my fleeting recall of plaques and pictures on their office walls. A triple-A guy recommended this shop to us while removing a wheel from my car (don't ask, it's embarassing) and we've been extremely happy to pass on the favor to others.

Great, honest people! I would never bring my car anywhere else.
