Well, I went to Baja Vega once, when my beloved 1987 VW Volkswagen would not start on a cold and wintry morning. I found them by the reccommendation of the tow-truck guy... so maybe I was expecting to get taken for a ride, so to speak. Although Baj Vega did fix the car so that it ran (leaky coolant chamber) and it was a relatively inexpensive and very quick and efficient fix, the underlying problem with my heating/cooling system was not diagnosed and wasn't fixed. So, yes, they did do what was asked, the car runs, and they did do a great job of explaining what they did and why, I still had to take my VW to my old reliable, Ernie Vivani at Ernie's Exxon in Livington, NJ (15 miles away). Also, unfortunately, its really hard to understand the woman on the phone at Baja Vega, as I think English is her second language. Three stars to Baja Vega, but Ernie gets four.

This is an excellent repair shop, the one I wished was available near my previous residence, before moving to Hoboken, NJ. They are efficient, knowledgeable, accommodating, helpful and well-mannered. Best of all, they also explain and teach! Carlos and Edgardo are excellent mechanics and I strongly recommend them! NP
