I had a 1995 Chevy C/K 6.5L Turbo-Diesel 4wd/HD that I used to pull race cars (very hard to find a diesel tech, much less one with pre-OBD II diesel diagnostic equipment). It went into the dealer no fewer than a dozen times in six months for the same issues (Injector Pump/Lift Pump/Pump Control Module/ECU/wiring overhaul), and I finally got fed up with the dealer's guessing games, and went out for a second opinion. In no time at all, John had the truck running right, and it has been on the road, for nearly 3 years, and over 100,000 miles, without the same issue coming up again. I now take all my other vehicles into their shop for the servicing. The only thing about Motorworks is, given the advanced nature of most of the work they perform (heavy duty diesel repair, transmission and transaxle rebuilds, and brake overhaul) they do not have any alignment equipment, but NTB, STP, and Midas, all located no more than 10 minutes away, all have such equipment. Also, the first time the diesel went in for servicing, I had no ride home, so John took time away from the '93 Saab he was replacing the engine and transmission in to drive me back to my house (~ 15 minutes drive each-way). Honest, good, and experienced work is hard to find. RECOMMEND 100%!!!!
