Our mechanic is wonderfully honest. We have gone in expecting to have the clutch replaced, and had them just tighten some screws and send us on our way. In another case, our dealer had checked out the car and insisted we needed a new fly wheel among other items; we ordered the parts and brought them to our mechanic to install, who then informed us that we did not in fact need the fly wheel and thus saved us several hundred bucks, when he could have just installed it and we would have never known. They are always courteous and will answer any questions without making you feel stupid. We moved about a half hour away but still take the car back to GT because we love them! Two thumbs up!

They do excellent work for both our cars and several friends. Twice, while working on our 1997 Pathfinder (which we purchased used), they found that the work that needed doing was still under warranty and recommended I take the car to a dealership. They chargeda modest fee fot teh diagnostic work and I saved about $700 that I would have surely paid them had they not informed me that the work was covered under NIssan's warranty. How about that!

I had my Acura serviced by them several times and they always did a nice job, as well as the award winning dealer I was taking it too. I found them from a co-worker who only owns Hondas and only has them repaired at GT. Most telling is I had my fiancee get her Civic Wagon AWD serviced by them a few times. They always communicated clearly with her, and she felt they treated her with respect. I never had to go inside or talk with them to help with communication. They are a tad more expensive than the usual shop, but they use only factory parts and do it right.

My Honda Civic was making a weird chirping noise which of course I was having trouble getting it to do the day I actually took it in. Ralph told me to take my time and drive around some more so that it would make the noise. Then when it finally started, he came out quickly to listen to it. Said it was the heat shield on the catalytic converter and removed it for $10.00. The dealer would have taken longer and charged more. I felt extremely comfortable with their knowledge and while I was there, several other customers commented on how "these guys do it right" and "can figure out anything." I'm happy to have found a place I can go back to without having to hassle with my always crowded, always expensive dealer.

the two principals. bill tucker and bill gil, are thoroughly professional and competent (they supervise their staff; they themselves don't do the tech work unless it's a particular problem). I've referred many people over the years and once people find these guys, they never leave. I used to live near the shop. moved away 7 yrs. ago and still go there (45 min. drive) since I know and trust them.

These guys are as honest as the day is long. They hold themselves to an extremely high level of service, regardless of whether the customer understands what they're doing. They always give sound advice, with no concern for which option would benefit them the most (financially). They are the best.
