Mike has always been honest about a number of different repairs. I used to have an 86 Cavalier. It had a plethora of problems to say the least.... It was a great car, but just started to get too old. Mike knew that I was almost out of college and wasn't going to be holding on to it for too much longer, so there were repairs that he advised me not to make -- for the simple reason that the car remained safe and usable in the meantime. Things like the AC and some squeaky brakes. Also, he was able to give me the cheap way out on an exhaust problem. he told me he could give it a six month fix, or he could fix it completely -- the difference was between a $100 fix and a $300 fix. I opted for the $100 fix and moved on without problems. I drive 40 miles to go to him -- that says something in itself.

I think the name is suppose to be Premier Auto Center not "preniere" but any way they were the only ones to find out that it was a bad pick-up coil that caused my engine to shut off after it got hot. They were my 4th stop and I was getting ready to give up! Heck even the dealer could not fix it. Also the shop is the cleanest around and there certifications checked out.

The first time I went to Mike I had been to 5 shops including the dealer to get a service light checked out and repaired. He did it in less than an hour for $75 because he knew exactly what was wrong. In another case, there was a difficult problem on our Caddy. They found the service bulletin indicating the probable cause, but sent us to the dealer to fix it because it was a Cadillac specific problem. We were able to use this information to shop dealers and saved $500 on the repair because we knew what was wrong and rejected the first dealer. I drive over 30 minutes to get to this shop.
