Great shop. Super honest. Old-style. Work on anything. The kind of mechanic you want in your town.

I only "discovered" Kruczek's shortly before leaving Newmarket, sadly. I got a ridiculous quote on new brakes from Midas, and when I called Kruczek's, their quote was literally 20% of Midas'. They did the work and it was top-notch. When I picked up the car I had them take a look at something on my truck, and instead of a) acting like women can't do anything with cars, and b) making money off me, they told me how to easily (and cheaply) fix the problem myself. The real clincher happened one day once I'd moved away. I was driving back through the area on a frigid Friday afternoon, and my water pump went out in a thoroughly spectacular fashion. I limped in, stopping every five minutes to add water to the radiator just to make it twenty miles. I explained my dilemma, including that I lived two and a half hours away and had no way to get home (or even to a hotel). If ever there was a time a customer could be taken advantage of without it ever affecting anyone's future business, this was it - but instead, despite a busy afternoon right before the weekend, they fit me in and charged me less than half of what I'd expected to pay. Truly great service!

This shop is terrible. I needed new plug wires (which I later found out through another mechanic) and they put in a whole new catalytic converter for $400+! It did not fix my car's problem, and the actual fix would have been much cheaper.
