Although they specialize in Volvos and Toyotas, they work on all makes of cars. Dennis and Tony are terrific mechanics and wonderful to deal with. I continue to go to them for service even though I've moved out of the immediate area. They treat me fairly and give me honest advise.

We found Dennis fast and very professional. His mechanic Tony was a whiz at fixing our very messy electrical problems. We were very pleased with their shop. Worth the little drive to hudson.

My problem is that my E brake light was staying on. Instead of making something up that would cost me a ton, they called and told me I just needed a little Brake Fluid. They were super nice and took the time to look over my Camery before I took it on a trip to Ohio from Massachusetts. These guys will take good care of you.

When I was in the process of re-locating to NH from another state, my car was acting perculiar. Being a woman, I am always apprehensive about going to a mechanic. When I got there, Dennis described what he thought the problem could be. It was a choice of two things, an air mass meter or something else. He put in an air mass meter, told me to drive around for a few days with the stipulation that I return his part, even if the problem was solved. He didn't even take my name, a deposit, nothing! He just made me promise to bring it back! I have been going to him ever since. Both he and Tony are top notch! I have been going there for over 5 years. It says something about an employer (Dennis) who can keep the same mechanic for such a long time. The best part is- I never leave feeling like I've been ripped off.

I've lived in New Hampshire for 6 years, yet hadn't found a shop I could trust. And I've tried quite a few. I found this one through this site. My 87 Toyota pickup needed a head gasket, so I got a few quotes. Voden's was the lowest, and the invoice came in a little lower still. I'm very happy with the work and have not needed to go back. Dennis told me that they do 70% Volvo and only 30% Toyota. I was impressed at how clean and spacious the shop is. They are in the northern corner of Hudson off Route 102 near the Hudson Speedway. I highly recommend these folks!

First time customers but long time CAR TALK listeners. Voden Automotive was excellent. After consulting with the dealer on our 65000 mile service and their charge for our 2000 Volvo V70, we picked our jaws off the floor then proceed to find a mechanic at cartalk.com. We decided to go with Voden because of the positive surveys and after talking with Dennis on the phone about our car's needs, he quoted us half of what the dealer quoted us. HALF!!! Anyway he did a fine job and was quite cordial to boot. Go Voden!!

This place is great! I found a good review of Voden here and went there on that knowledge. Being female I always feel uncomfortable when it comes to car mechanics and not knowing something I wish I did... they were so friendly and helpful I didn't feel awkard at all. My family has returned several times for various maintenance upkeep on a Toyota, Honda CRV and a VW Golf. Pricing is considerably less than a dealer's and you just get a good feeling you aren't being taken here. I would definitely recommend them to those in the area. They specialize in Volvo's but do general svc for other makes, particularly Toyota as well.

I brought our 1997 Volvo 850 with 188K miles in - thinking I needed a PCV system replacement (which on the internet I saw was about a 4 hr job). Dennis diagnosed my problem and felt a simple cracked tube was the cause of the problem (burnt oil smell in car when warm and not moving) - its been fine since.

Dennis / Voden has been working on my Volvos since about 1994. I have had many Volvos since then. Mostly V240 and now V940. I did like my Volvos 10-20 years old then. Now I like them 17+ years old. Dennis is an expert on the V940. VOLVO = I ROLL = Volvo-Dennis
