Jim is the kind of mechanic that can place his hands on the engine and diagnose the problem - I'm not kidding. He's as honest as the day is long and doesn't perform any work that isn't necessary. On the other hand, he also thoroughly inspects the car every time you come in and let's you know when you can expect to have to replace a major part. It makes budgeting auto repairs a little easier. Be prepared to leave your car for the day - the waiting room is not pleasant but there is a great fish store right next door. You can always go watch the fish.

They usually tell which repairs are essential and which you can put off unti later. They also work hard to use rebuilt or used parts if it makes sense. I trust them completely.

Jim knows cars. He's extremely honest, helpful, and friendly. He'll look at your car, tell you what he thinks is wrong and what it will cost to fix it, and he'll even help you with advice if you decide you want to fix it yourself. I recommend him highly. Although they don't have loaners, if you need a ride after dropping off your car, one of the mechanics will stop what they're doing and give you a lift anywhere in their own personal pickup truck.

Jim Morris has bailed me out of so many situations, I
can't even begin to name them. Whether it be stalled in
rush hour traffic or a costly repair that can be patched
until my finicial situation improved. He has inspected
every car I purchased before I signed on the dotted line.
He is always honest and keeps his customers coming back by
standing behind his work.
I brought me car in because the transmission I had him
send out to be rebuilt was grinding. He pulled the engine
and transmission and sent the transmission out for a second
rebuild, looked at my clock spring (if you don't know what
a clock spring is, don't ask, and hope you never hear about
it) and changed the oil. When I came to pick it up I was
charged for the oil change and nothing else. What a stand
up guy!

They spent time diagnosing a problem, and when they could
not do anything about it, they did not charge me a dime,
even to read the computer codes.
