I searched for years for a decent mechanic and someone recommended Don Lee's to me because he'd been using them for 20 years. Now I've been using them for 15 years. They don't charge you for finding the problem. When my engine locked up they spent over an hour trying to figure it out. When they diagnosed it as a transmission problem, they referred me to a transmission shop. The even towed it over there and didn't charge me a nickel. Once when I picked up the car I got in and noticed a trim piece on the passenger side floor that they'd forgotten to re-install. They jumped on it and had it installed within 2 minutes. They've worked on three toyotas, a mazda, and a mitsubishi for me kept them running as long as I bring them in for oil changes. They charge less than the quick oil change places charged me when I used them. And they don't charge for tire rotation, even on my new toyota which calls for tire rotations ever 5K. My only problem is they close at 5:30. But they do have a key drop and the neighborhood is safe enough, I don't mind them locking the key in the car when they leave so I can pick it up that evening.

We've been taking our cars to Don Lee's for maintenance and repairs for 15 years. We've always been very happy with their work. The things they've screwed up have been minor, and they've responded well on those occasions. They're also very straight about telling you about something they can't fix or something they don't think is worth fixing.
