I only know Harry by his first name. I trust him enough so a last name is not necessary. He grew-up just around the corner from the "car talk boys" near Harvard Square.

Been there 4 times with my '90 VW Fox. Walked away satisfied every time. They really know their stuff and unlike many places let you bring your own replacement parts.

Harry diagnosed and fixed a mystery electrical problem that had stumped the Mazda Dealer mechanic and me and my trusty Haynes Repair Manual. Harry's charge - $65. To no avail I had already spent twice that at Mazda and the auto parts stores.

Soto's International was recommended to me from a friend because of their reputation and one of the mechanics(Harry Theriault)was from my hometown of Boston, MA. The first time that I stepped foot inside there I was greeted and treated with professionalism. Harry has never steered me wrong, is very honest and accomodating. Over the years, I have come to trust him, will never go anywhere else, unless he absolutely cannot fix the problem(which only happened once in 5 years)and would recommend him very strongly to anyone. As for the other guys, Soto, Zach, and Kurt(who have never worked on my car) have always been very friendly and courteous. If your looking for a car repair shop that provides excellent expertise and customer service, go to Soto's International. Judy Epps Raleigh, NC

Soto, a Greek immigrant, began this business about 30 years ago. Since he's still in business, he's obviously doing something right. He employs good staff and, in my experience, doesn't recommend unnecessary work. Soto's is located near the main campus of North Carolina State University, across the street from Reader's Corner, one of my favorite stores for used books, films, and sound recordings--where I often hang out while they're working on my car.
